Concept

In consulatation with school authorities and considering various regulations such as EnEv (Energy Performance & Energy Conservation) three 70m² classrooms were built with a connection to the existing district heating network.

Implementation

Eighteen containers were assembled in 3 days. A secondary roof and attika of complementing colour completed the temporary building's aspect.
The complicated terrain required extensive earth works e.g. restructuring, landscaping, construction of new foundation walls and connection of existing services and utilities. The preservation of existing trees and the schedule limitations of school term times added to the complexity.
